YourContent's code is source-available under the PolyForm Small Business License 1.0.0. Most people never pay anything. Larger companies buy a commercial license, and that is how the project is funded.

  • Companies and non-profits with fewer than 100 people (employees plus independent contractors) and under US$1M revenue in the prior tax year.

  • 100 people or more, counting employees and contractors, or
  • US$1M revenue or more in the prior tax year.
  • Same app, same code. You get written permission to use it for your company's benefit.

The fine print, still in plain words

  • "Your company" includes its group. Count the people and revenue of any organization that controls yours, that yours controls, or that is under the same control.
  • The US$1M limit is in 2019 dollars and rises with US inflation (the Bureau of Labor Statistics' CPI-U), so the real number today is somewhat higher.
  • Growing past a limit means your company needs a commercial license from then on. Write to us before or when it happens.
  • It is not an OSI open-source license. The source is public; the right to use it for a large company is what's sold.
  • This page is a summary, not legal advice. The license text is what counts.

Model weights keep their own licenses

YourContent doesn't ship any model weights; you download them, and each one keeps its own license. A commercial license for YourContent does not change a model's license. The app labels every file with the models that made it, so you can tell what you may use commercially.

Anything that contains a Qwen-Image 2.1 picture, directly or through a clip made from it, is marked non-commercial. The full list is in the repository's third-party notices.
